Michael Iverson

CEO & Director

Mr. Iverson brings over 30 years of executive experience in public markets, including corporate development, capital formation, acquisitions and mergers. In 1998, Mr. Iverson founded Niogold Mining Corp. (previously TSXV: NOX) and co-founded Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSE:FVI), and in both companies went on to serve in various executive roles including Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President until 2016. Since 2007, Mr. Iverson has also held various executive positions at Volcanic Gold Mines (CSE:VG). At Niogold, he led the acquisition and exploration of a large land package in Val D’Or, following which the company was acquired by Oban Mining Corp., now operating as Osisko Mining Inc. (TSE: OSK), at a significant premium to the company’s market capitalization. At Fortuna, he was an integral part of the company’s successful development into a silver producer with operating mines in Peru and Mexico. Mr. Iverson brings a wealth of experience in public and private equity markets and in important management disciplines of strategic planning and oversight, sales and marketing, having raised, invested and co-invested $100 million in the companies he has led and advised. Mr. Iverson has acted as CEO and/or director for companies that, while he was in that role, have achieved, in the aggregate, market capitalizations in excess of $1 billion.

Nick Luksha

President & Director

Mr. Luksha has over 15 years of business experience as an owner, senior management, and in capital markets as a director of private and publicly traded companies. Nicks role as President at Prospect Ridge Resources began as a Director before the company was publicly traded and has covered an array of responsibilities. These include but are not limited to; acquisitions, management team building, raising funds, corporate branding, marketing, legal teams liaison, and conducting field reviews of our mining properties.

Throughout his career, Nick has been a leader in numerous sectors including mining, venture capital, real estate development, investment, asset management, technology, franchising, and building management teams to help small to medium sized businesses achieve controlled growth. Mr. Luksha has considerable experience providing access to capital for high-growth businesses worldwide. Nick’s vast network of value-add capital sources include High Net Worth retail investors, family offices, institutional investors, and broker/dealers. Having operated across Canada, the USA, and Latin America, Nick has cultivated a sophisticated approach to a diverse range of professional environments. Mr. Luksha studied math and statistics at Concordia University and attended Harvard University for continuing studies.

Liam Corcoran


Liam Corcoran has extensive legal and business experience and is currently a partner of a multi-disciplinary legal practice with an emphasis on property insurance and related litigation. Mr. Corcoran currently holds a number of positions as Director and CEO of Canadian publicly traded companies. As a former CEO, Mr. Corcoran oversaw the successful acquisition of a biotechnology company for over $30 million, resulting in a peak market cap over $200 million and $20 million in access to non-dilutive government grants. Mr. Corcoran has widespread experience in all areas of the public markets, including restructuring, financing, M&A and due diligence. Mr. Corcoran obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thompson Rivers University Law School and holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University.

Jacques Brunelle


Jacques Brunelle is a Canadian businessman with over 30 years of experience in the North American mining industry. Mr. Brunelle has had roles at executive levels as both President and Director of publicly traded companies. These include; Niogold Mining Corporation (NOX) in 2003, which later completed a successful exit to Osisko Mining Inc. (OSK. TO) in 2016. The public and private companies Mr. Brunelle has been involved with have successfully raised tens of millions of dollars for exploration and equity financings.

Stella Chen


Stella Chen is a senior associate with Red Fern Consulting. She is currently working as CFO with several TSX-V and CSE listed companies, predominately focused on the resource sector, both in Canada and around the globe. Ms, Chen has considerable experience in the areas of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and treasury for Canadian public companies. Ms. Chen holds an Economic degree from Simon Fraser University and an Accounting diploma from the University of British Columbia. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant candidate.

Nicolai Goeppel

Senior Geologist

Mr. Goeppel has a vast amount of geological experience ranging across a large part of Western Canada including many gold mining operations. Nicolai founded Higher Ground Exploration Services where he has found success contracting to companies in the Yukon and BC for hardrock and placer exploration. During which time he staked and developed his own hardrock and placer properties and included millions raised and spent on the ground. This work entailed setting up and carrying out exploration programs, outlining drilling programs, assisting in investor meetings, target generation and following his passion of prospecting. He has worked on multiple different styles of mineralization in a magnitude of different terranes; this includes epithermal, orogenic, intrusion related, skarns, porphyry, VMS, Sedex, magmatic Ni-Cu-PGEs, Carlin, sedimentary copper. Nicolai has been a valued team member at Keno Hill (Yukon), Bralorne (BC), Stewart (BC), White Gold district (Yukon), Kluanes (Yukon), Livingstone (Yukon), Atlin (BC), Dease Lake (BC), Gander (NL), also overseas at Chuquicamata (Chile), Antofagasta (Chile) and Cerro Rico (Bolivia). Nicolai holds a degree in geology from Memorial University in Newfoundland.

Jason Chornobay

Director of Prospecting

Jay Chornobay is a highly motivated and passionate prospecting professional with an impressive amount of exploration experience spanning more than 2 decades. Throughout his career, Jay has been part of many programs totaling over $1 billion in exploration. Having generated solid targets for both private and public companies, Jay’s expertise and know-how has repeatedly assisted with financing and acquisitions. Mr. Chornobay has found numerous high-producing existing mines. His prospecting accolades include, but are not limited to, completing the soil sample grid that led to the discovery of the Coffee Creek Gold mine, and cutting the core of the first discovery hole of Golden Mile (sold for $240mil). Jay is regularly called upon by peers in the industry for advice and solutions for logistics, time efficiency, and capital for exploration programs. Mr. Chornobay completed the Canadian securities course in 2007 and has truly worked in all aspects of the mining industry from the field through finance, and most importantly as a project generator.

Rein Turna

Senior Geologist

Mr. Turna has almost 50 years of experience as a Geologist and specializes in property assessment, project and diamond drill supervision, core logging, reconnaissance, detailed mapping, and other field survey work. Rein has been involved in exploration, mapping, and assessment work on mineral properties in igneous, volcanic, and metamorphic environments in most areas of British Columbia. Having operated in remote areas of BC, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Ontario, Saskatchewan, as well as Arizona, Rein has acquired vast experience and field knowledge of North American Geology. This has included researching and managing exploration projects and being responsible for project creation and organization, camp construction and coordination of crews. During his extensive career, Mr. Turna has overseen and provided guidance for assessment and drilling projects which he then followed with the creation of maps, reports, and planning of further work. Rein has extensive core logging experience and has repeatedly worked on examples of porphyry, volcanogenic massive sulphide, epithermal and Archean fault zone hosted gold prospects providing a good knowledge of these kinds of deposits. Furthermore, Mr. Turna researched and worked on sedex and diamond prospects. Rein succeeded in creating a geological interpretation of Osisko’s Hammond Reef structurally-controlled gold deposit in Ontario from 2,600 drill holes and 700,000 m of drill data and recommended local and regional follow-up exploration. Mr. Turna graduated from UBC with a bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences, and attended BCIT where he obtained an Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology in Geographic Information Systems.
